Salt Shakers Ministry began after years of working closely with local pastors in Nepal and encouraging them in their calling to spread the gospel and minister to Christians in their church areas. Local pastors in many areas are committed to serve their church members but also must balance providing for their needs with very few resources. Poverty and recent laws categorizing evangelism as an unlawful act have resulted in new challenges and stress for these dedicated pastors and church planters. Salt Shakers mission is to provide funds that will be allocated to these pastors for support which will allow them to attend meetings and events to encourage each other, provide training and respite, and if donations allow, to attend an annual Pastor/Church Planter conference. Each donor will have an opportunity to review the bio of the pastors and will receive updates from the pastor they choose to support. Learn more here.
